Caramel French Vanilla Coffee Cream

First thing on weekend mornings, I throw on some jeans, a t-shirt, my Keds sneakers and make a cup of good coffee.  The only thing better than a good cup of coffee, is a good cup of coffee with a great coffee creamer. Coffee in hand, a sparkle in my eye and a smile on my face, I’d say I’m ready for the day. Bring it on!

Ingredients:

14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
3/4 cup whole milk
3/4 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions:

1. Remove label from can of sweetened condensed milk.  Place can into pot of simmering water (making sure can remains covered by water), and simmer for 3 hours.

2. Open can of sweetened condensed milk and place contents into one quart container.  Add milk, cream and vanilla.

3.  Place top on jar and shake vigorously for several minutes until all ingredients are completely blended.

4. Store creamer in refrigerator for 10 days to 2 weeks.

  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  2. Open can of sweetened condensed milk and place contents into one quart jar. Add milk, cream, and vanilla.
  3. Place top in jar and shake vigorously for several minutes until all ingredients are completely blended,
  4. Store creamer in refrigerator for up to 10 days to 2 weeks.
